Family park situated in the countryside in the town of Huizingen. An oasis of peace and calm during the week ... the weekend, it can sometimes be crowded, almost  unbearable during summer. Very nice playground with numerous game modules and trampolines (1.5 € per 1/4h), 45 ha of woods and wildlife park where you will see ostriches, deers, chickens, parrots, peacocks, ...
Beautiful pond at the foot of Castle Huizingen, pedal boats for a little ride on water. Topping the field you will find a beautiful outdoor swimming pool for all ages.
A small train goes around the park (1.2 € for adults, free for children) and gives a good idea of the size of the area Huizingen ... However it is not so interesting: 60% of the circuit is in the woods where there's nothing to see (besides the woods, where it can be nice for babies to take a ride in the stroller) and the smell of diesel locomotive is unpleasant.
The area is open all year, free for parents and children during the winter until March 31
Huizingen remains a reference for children and around Brussels and is the most visited activity on The Little Explorer ! :)

NOTE:
- The pool, the price varies from 2.5 to € 7.5 € (FOR POOL ONLY) depending on the province you live in (Flemish Brabant / rest of Belgium).
- The Park costs 2.5 € per adult and € 1.5 per child, regardless of your origin. Possible discount for groups (> 12personnes = 2 € or 1 € for children).

The domain is open every day in:

* April to september: 9.00 to 20.00
* October to march: 9.00 till nightfall

The attractions are open from April 1rst till end of September, monday to friday, from 11 to 7pm.
